Maria Ritola is a Finnish entrepreneur, award-winning technology influencer and experienced performer. He has given hundreds of speeches, e.g. about the future of work, the utilization of machine learning in problem solving, the interaction between man and machine, the role of technologies in solving the most difficult problems of our time, thinking about the future and building meaning-based business.
Maria is one of the founders of the technology company Iris.ai, where she has built artificial intelligence-based applications to help researchers take advantage of scientific articles more quickly and in a more versatile way. Iris.ai has been awarded around the world several times and is e.g. AI XPrize finalists.
Maria has attended Singularity University, Silicon Valley Futures School, and is an Eisenhower Fellow. Maria has been chosen as the Young Success of the Year and one of the most influential women in technology in the Nordic countries. He serves on the boards of Sylva ry and the foundation and has also worked on the board of the state development company, Vake Oy. Maria regularly discusses the phenomena of technology in Yle's morning television Post-Digital program.
