With over 35 years of teaching, business and management experience, Professor Kafi is a recognized leader in the education and entrepreneurship fields. Most recently he served as the Managing Director of E-Learning and President of Babson Global Inc., a subsidiary of Babson College. He was responsible for implementing the college’s global vision of entrepreneurial education ‘of all kinds’ and helping international educational institutions to move beyond traditional “entrepreneurship programs” by embracing “Entrepreneurial Thought and Action™” in order to bring about positive social change.


Prior to heading Babson Global, Professor Kafi took a leave of absence from Babson College to serve as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Senior Associate Dean and Director of the Finance Program at Hult International Business School (HIBS) in Cambridge. Additionally, he focused on implementing its global expansion by serving as the Acting Dean of the San Francisco and Shanghai Campuses. Professor Kafi also oversaw the expansion of the Hult degree granting programs through accreditation and approval of two Masters Programs from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education and New England Association of Schools and Colleges.


In addition to English, Farhoud speaks Persian fluently and understands some Arabic and German.
